Chief Executive Officer

 As Verne’s Chief Commercial Officer, Nick aligns complex technology opportunities with commercial execution. He leads our go-to-market strategy across sales, marketing, product and customer service. Nick was a driving force in building Verne’s core business in HPC, verticals and automotive. He also played a key role in launching our high-density, sustainable colocation data center in Iceland, serving Europe and the US. His strategic skills are rooted in broad experience, founding his own successful colocation business and holding senior sales roles at Global Switch, PSINet and Telstra Europe.

Tate Cantrell

Chief Technology Officer

Tero oversees the expansion of our sustainable HPC data centers across the Nordic region, delivering high-quality infrastructure on time and within budget. With extensive project management expertise gained from senior roles with Neste and AF, Tero has an established track record for successfully delivering complex, multi-million-dollar projects within fixed constraints. He has held senior project management positions, leading initiatives spanning oil and gas, renewable energy and circular economy. He brings a deep expertise in complex process management and project delivery to his role at Verne.

Kim Gunnelius

As Chief Operating Officer, Wayne is responsible for driving performance, resilience and service across Verne’s expanding portfolio. Working closely with employees, communities, partners and customers, he leads operational strategy to deliver Verne’s vision for high-density, AI-ready infrastructure. This is achieved through sustainable, efficient and innovative operations. His career is founded on taking complex, mission-critical data center environments across international markets. Wayne held senior roles at Gyron and NTT Global Data Centers before Verne, supporting hyperscale growth and unified delivery with large teams across EMEA.

Styrmir Haflidason

Managing Director, Iceland

Styrmir leads Verne’s Iceland operations where he is responsible for our flagship AI-ready, HPC and colocation hub serving customers across Europe and the US. He brings operational expertise and a strong customer focus, driving innovation and sustainable growth at a facility powered solely by geothermal and hydro energy. Part of Verne’s core team since 2013, Styrmir’s management approach delivers on our philosophy of close collaboration with customers and partners. He has held several senior roles with Verne, including Head of Customer Success - managing global client delivery alongside quality, compliance, service and security.

With more than a decade in data-center marketing, Anne brings a commercial, data-driven approach focused on measurable growth. At Verne, she shapes marketing strategy to strengthen market presence, support revenue and position the company as the partner of choice for high-performance, sustainable infrastructure. Her experience spans brand, digital, ABM and partner marketing. With senior roles at Interxion and Digital Realty, Anne has led channel and alliances programmes across11 European countries. She has also advised fast-growing SaaS companies, building scalable marketing strategies centered on long-term value.

Natasha Mehta

Head of Technical Projects

Natasha plays a pivotal role as Verne expands its Northern European data center platform. As technical projects lead, she is behind strategic initiatives including newbuilds and data-hall fit-outs, ensuring projects match high-density compute with efficient, low-carbon operations. Named one of Data Centre Magazine’s Top 100Women in Data Centres 2025, she brings extensive project management experience to Verne. Natasha held senior roles at VIPA Digital, Digital Realty and Arcadis, working closely with hyperscalers and investors, and consulted for a wide range of critical infrastructure providers.

Roland Chedivili

Managing Director, France

As Verne France MD, Roland leads the company’s strategic exploration of opportunities in one of Europe’s most dynamic digital markets. With AI and digital growth a national priority, he focuses on local strategy, partnerships and identifying viable opportunities for low-carbon, high-density data center services. Roland brings more than 20 years’ experience in computing, networking and telecoms strategy. He has held senior roles driving growth and transformation at TDF, one of France’s leading telecom firms, and at consultancy Arthur D. Little, advising on digital infrastructure and technology strategy.
